About James
James Venslauskas is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Vens Strategies. He has experience across government and think tank institutions in the United States and Canada, focusing on legislative governance, elections, transparency, and development. James previously spent time at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and the U.S. House of Representatives.
He has consulted for and authored publications with the G7 Research Group, USAID, and International IDEA. His blueprint of action is building solutions with a strategic angle to reduce real world gaps and threats. James actively engages with a wide range of initiatives in Washington, DC centered on the political arena, accountable democracy, geoeconomic processes, trade, and AI.
James holds a bachelor’s in political science and international development from the University of Toronto and a master’s in government from Georgetown University.
